XPOfleet, a long standing software solution for fleet management, is charting a new course and transforming into a robust SaaS platform. Our journey started with laying a solid foundation and conducting discovery interviews. We delved into the needs and challenges of Fleet Managers. These insights prompted a slight shift in our approach, leading us to reassess and conduct usability tests with our prototypes. With a newfound understanding, we are now steering towards transforming XPOfleet into a robust SaaS platform called Muto.
Through a series of collaborative workshops and weekly meetings, we engaged closely with our clients, fostering open dialogue and gathering invaluable feedback. This included immersive sessions held both remotely and on-site, including visits to Antwerp, where we further refined our understanding of client needs by working directly in their environments. This was crucial in shaping Muto into a solution that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of Fleet Managers worldwide.
Ideas starting to become reality
The transition isn't merely about updating technology — We are rethinking mobility management from the ground up with all the required complexity in mind. To serve a wide range of customers, we are streamlining onboarding processes and keeping the user experience easy and delightful all across the product. We do this while also ensuring scalability for Muto's more complex functionalities.
Visual identity
Starting with a design kick-off to align with their brand. Our goal was to create a modern, cohesive look that balances ease of use with reliability.
We built a design system that included a professional color palette, enriched with signal colors and shades to guide users through the product. Clean typography, intuitive icons, and streamlined UI elements ensured a user-friendly experience.
The result? A unified visual identity that not only enhanced usability but positioned the brand as modern, trustworthy, and friendly.
A system for consistency and scalability
We have developed a design system to streamline the product’s visual language and ensure a precise and efficient developer handoff. This constantly growing library of components makes rapid iteration and prototyping possible, increasing design consistency and enhancing collaboration across teams. By providing a single source of truth for typography, color palettes, icons, and UI elements, the design system not only accelerates the design process but also empowers designers and developers to work seamlessly together, minimizing errors and maintaining a high-quality, scalable product as the project evolves.
The new Mobility experience
This isn’t your typical fleet management tool. We helped create a mobility management application designed to support all forms of mobility—whether it’s cars, bikes, public transport, or beyond. No matter your company’s policy, the platform makes it easy to track and arrange mobility options for your employees, streamlining the process for any type of transportation.
Ready for launch in just 9 months
In nine months, we've built a robust MVP for Muto, exceeding our feature goals in collaboration with our partners. We’ve also conducted usability tests and interviews with more than 24 participants from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, we refined Muto's interface to ensure it meets diverse user needs, setting the stage for a successful launch.
